My girls, that is. Here is why...
I was driving home one morning after dropping them off at school and I noticed how simply INCREDIBLE the sunrise was that day. Beautiful! Well, I drove all around my area looking for spots where I could see this without trees and power lines and such in the middle. I thought I had found a couple of places that were cool, so that afternoon, I asked my oldest if she would be in the mood for a early morning sunrise photo shoot on Sunday. OF COURSE, she says.
So Sunday morning we journeyed out and guess what, every one of the places I had scoped out was not good. Either we could be arrested for being there too early or shot at because they were still hunting grounds before 10 am or there were chain link fences running through her head in the pics. Not good. Eventually we ended up in a vacant lot near our neighborhood. We missed the sunrise but I got a couple of shots of her anyway.
I love this because she was laughing with me. She wasn't mad or annoyed at my bad planning. She just thought we were having a fun adventure. Thank goodness!
So this weekend I have a sunrise chasing adventure planned with my second daughter. We'll see how that one goes. I have new locations planned, so my fingers are crossed!
For this page, I used a combination of the new Yes, Please line by Amy Tangerine and American Crafts and Lucky Charm by Dear Lizzy and American Crafts.
Have a great day everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
