The cross country album

At the cross country banquet this past fall, the senior runners were presented with scrapbooks of their cross country careers at the school.  It was really cool.  Some of the kids had been running for 7 years so they had these big hug books!  The moms that made them told us that they had made all the books in a weekend.  WHAT?!?!?  One weekend?!?!  SEVEN albums!  And some were for as many as SEVEN years?

Knowing myself, I know for a fact that there is no way I would be able to make a book for my daughter in a weekend that spanned the 4 years she will be in high school.  Not happening.  So I decided I needed to start on this album now, so at least I will only be working on the last few pages that weekend they get together to make the books.

So here we go.  The first page of her cross country album...

This was from the region meet.  The meet the girls had been training for all season long.  They wrote K.T.D. on the backs of their legs which stood for a chant they had come up with over the summer and was like their good luck charm.

I used SRM Cross Country stickers on this.

Of course I added some mist and sequins (my new favorite thing).  And I love the star glitter.

The journaling is hidden on a tag in one of the SRM glassine bags behind the photo.

I guess I need to keep going with the album.  One page isn't going to be enough of a head start!

Have a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping by!
