UPDATED WITH A WINNER!!!
Sparklin Come on down!!! You are my winner for the card class by Julie Campbell!! Woot Woot!
Welcome to the Gardeners' Digest, a monthly update from the Garden Girls, the design team at Two Peas in a Bucket. We'd love it if you'd visit each of our blogs today to see what's in bloom in the Garden this month.
For February, love is in the air and I have pulled together some of my favorite American Crafts and Crate Paper Valentine's lines and hearts from Studio Calico and Pink Paislee for a special little page for my own Valentine.
I love browsing the gallery. There is so much amazing stuff! Here are a few recent projects that have really caught my eye.
From the top left and moving clockwise... 1. By Monika Glod. I love that she used pink on a page about her boys. 2. By wendymorris. I really think she has mastered the art of sprinkled bits and pieces. 3. From michellerose. I love a heart and the simplicity of the stitched heart just really called to me. 4. From sarahsjb. Okay, two of my favorite things. A rainbow and the rays. LOVE it! 5. From Paige, fellow Garden Girl. I think she does the most amazing work with her Cameo! 6. By biochemipea. Wow, wow, wow. I love this heart and color combo. Just awesome.
1. I love anything wood veneer, but these arrows by Freckled Fawn take the cake! They are so cute!!! I am so glad they are back in stock!!
2. I just got these stitched labels from Crate's Fourteen collection. They are so simple and adorable.
3. Oh my goodness, these little enamel dots are so great! I think I have all the different possible color combos. They just always seem to be an easy embellishment to add!
4. This sheet of paper from Crate's Fourteen collection is amazing. I love the colors, the chevron and side B. I cannot cut it though, so I am going to have to buy an second sheet to play with.
5. Pink chevron tape from Bella Blvd. Yes! I have used it about on everything lately and have even found my girls trying to snag it!
Thanks for hopping everyone! As a thanks, I would like to offer up a seat to one person in Julie Campbell's Journey into Cardmaking class.
This is class has a $12 value. And don't worry if you have already signed up, if you win, Two Peas will refund your payment! Yay!! Here is more about the class.
Whether you’re a seasoned card maker or have yet to make your first card, this workshop will take you on a journey to create handmade cards that your friends & loved ones will cherish.
Julie will start out by teaching you card making basics; you will create a card organizer to file away all the new cards you'll be designing! You'll then travel on to gain greater design skills. You’ll dive into design principles and learn how to create an eye pleasing design. You’ll learn all about composition & balance in a way that will take your cards from good to great!
Become adventurous and explore some of the hottest trends in paper crafting! In this workshop, you’ll also learn how to incorporate colors in your projects & how to create cards in several unique styles.
Included in this workshop are over 30 brand-new card samples from Julie and her contributors. The three chapters contain a printable PDF for a total of over 40 pages, and 80 minutes of coordinating video tutorials. Julie’s talented contributors include card makers Laura Bassen & Michelle Wooderson.
At the end of this journey, you’ll find a BONUS chapter filled with souvenirs! Create a trendy card set with the card making kit designed by Marcy Penner of Hello Forever. The kit will be available for download as a PDF and as a cutting file you can use with your Silhouette machine.
The content of this workshop will be available immediately upon purchase. The lessons are available for you to work at your own pace and upon purchase can be accessed in the "Workshops" section under "Classes & Events." A private message board forum is also available to ask questions for Julie and to connect with other participants. Enjoy!
If you are interested in a possible free spot to the class, leave a comment! I will choose one winner on Monday, January 28th and will announce it on Tuesday, January 29th.
It is time for you continue your hop! The next stop is Nancy Damiano. She's got a bunch of great ideas for ways to document the holidays. I love the way she uses her pocket pages.
And if you are just dropping in here first, you can go back and start on the Two Peas in a Bucket blog and go through the thing!
Have a great all and thanks for stopping by!
