He's dad, dear hubby, Jerm. He gets so much attention from the girls that has to almost hide to get a moment of quiet. They love him. So do I! So here is a layout that is just for him.
This is up on the Heidi Swapp blog today. I used her No Limits collection which is perfect for a "guy" page.
I needed to make this page. Dad is definitely underrepresented in the girl focused scrapbooks we have in this house.
This is such a wonderful, masculine, soothing color combo. I love the painted background, the bits of stitching and other amazing elements. Everything works so well together!
Absolutely stunning layout, Corrie! Just curious about the "awesome" that's in Heidi's handwriting ... is that a stamp, or a cut from a Silhouette file, or something else? Would love to know, thanks!
Hi Susan! That awesome was already on the paper there. I tore this sheet out of one of the mini photo books that are with the collection. The arrow was a stamp but her handwriting was already there.
oh wow...a fantastic layout. The fabric and map paper add so much texture and detail. In this house it's the other way around...just me and all the boys so i'm always looking for boy inspiration and this layout is so perfect.
Thank you for leaving me a lovely comment today too.
Totally awesome masculine LO! I really love the colors...grey and yellow go together so beautifully! And great detailing with that irregular banner in the corner...love it!
This is such a great page. So special. I need to do this for hubby, with a family with 4 women in it, he does get overlooked in the scrapbooking department. Thank you for visiting my blog :)
Incredible! That word sums up this layout! Wonderful photo and amazing work Corrie! Someday I want to grow up and be just like you :) Thanks for the inspiration! I am off to pin your layout!
Awesome page! I love all those layers!
